Berry pen device IQOS in Luanda: the flat shortlist
Berry in Luanda: 24 units tested over 4 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
Coil life, liquid cost and the berry habit
Berry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Luanda that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Kz1.67 per 10 ml.
Berry in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Luanda the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: berry in Luanda works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a berry pen device really costs in Luanda
A berry pen device from the flat-rate options in Angola costs about Kz1.67 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested berry in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 8–15 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Angola, not a suggestion.
Where berry goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why berry tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Angola need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Angola applies customs scrutiny on vaping imports; budget for delays.
