Blackcurrant pen device IQOS in Luanda: the compare shortlist
Blackcurrant in Luanda: 13 units tested over 7 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
Coil life, liquid cost and the blackcurrant habit
A blackcurrant pen device from the compared options in Angola costs about Kz2.66 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Blackcurrant sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: blackcurrant in Luanda works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a blackcurrant pen device really costs in Luanda
Blackcurrant prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Luanda that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Kz2.66 per 10 ml.
How we tested blackcurrant in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 8–15 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 8–15 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Angola, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long blackcurrant in Luanda survives.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why blackcurrant tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
