Candy box mod IQOS in Luanda: the flat shortlist
Candy in Luanda: 17 units tested over 8 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
Choosing a box mod for candy
Most people searching IQOS in Angola are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
We run candy the same way in Luanda: same box mod, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 17 units, box mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a candy box mod really costs in Luanda
Candy in Luanda reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the flat-rate ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested candy in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 8–15 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every candy bottle shipped into Angola.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 8–15 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a candy bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where candy goes wrong
- Mixing candy with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Why does candy taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the candy blend itself harsh.
Do you ship tracked orders to Angola?
Yes, tracked to 8–15 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On candy the budget price and the premium price can sit within Kz2.89 per 10 ml once 8–15 business days is counted.
