Caramel in Luanda: 22 units tested over 8 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
Delivery, returns and what 8–15 business days really means
Ordering into Luanda usually means waiting 8–15 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
If you are looking at caramel in Angola, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pen device you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long caramel tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a caramel pen device really costs in Luanda
Caramel prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Luanda that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Kz3.38 per 10 ml.
How we tested caramel in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 8–15 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a caramel bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Angola, not a suggestion.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long caramel in Luanda survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised Kz50 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Kz3.38 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Why does caramel taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the caramel blend itself harsh.
How long does caramel in a pen device last?
In Luanda we measured 8 to 22 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
How much does a pen device cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Luanda: about Kz3.38 per 10 ml liquid plus Kz50 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
