Caramel starter kit IQOS in Luanda: the best shortlist
Caramel in Luanda: 6 units tested over 7 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
How to tell a good starter kit from a repack
Caramel prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Luanda that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Kz3.43 per 10 ml.
We run caramel the same way in Luanda: same starter kit, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: caramel in Luanda works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a caramel starter kit really costs in Luanda
If you are looking at caramel in Angola, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested caramel in a starter kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 8–15 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a caramel bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every caramel bottle shipped into Angola.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Angola accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing caramel with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for caramel in Angola must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Angola applies customs scrutiny on vaping imports; budget for delays.

How much does a starter kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Luanda: about Kz3.43 per 10 ml liquid plus Kz33 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
