Cherry pen device IQOS in Luanda: the guide shortlist
Cherry in Luanda: 19 units tested over 4 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
What the label on Cherry is allowed to say
Cherry in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Luanda the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Angola. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: cherry in Luanda works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a cherry pen device really costs in Luanda
Cherry sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested cherry in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a cherry bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every cherry bottle shipped into Angola.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Angola stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why cherry tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Angola applies customs scrutiny on vaping imports; budget for delays.

Frequently asked questions
Why does cherry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the cherry blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should cherry start at?
Start at whatever Angola allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
How much does a pen device cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Luanda: about Kz2.99 per 10 ml liquid plus Kz59 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
