Citrus box mod IQOS in Luanda: the budget shortlist
Citrus in Luanda: 20 units tested over 4 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
What the label on Citrus is allowed to say
Citrus in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Luanda the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Citrus sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Below is the run we did for this search: 20 units, box mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a citrus box mod really costs in Luanda
The honest read on citrus: 20 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested citrus in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 8–15 business days.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Angola, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 8–15 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised Kz48 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Kz1.88 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

Frequently asked questions
Is citrus legal to sell in Angola?
Angola applies customs scrutiny on vaping imports; budget for delays.
What nicotine strength should citrus start at?
Start at whatever Angola allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a box mod.
Why does citrus taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the citrus blend itself harsh.
