Citrus box mod IQOS in Luanda: the order shortlist
Citrus in Luanda: 10 units tested over 3 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
What citrus costs in Luanda
We run citrus the same way in Luanda: same box mod, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Citrus prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Luanda that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Kz1.93 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long citrus tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a citrus box mod really costs in Luanda
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Angola. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested citrus in a box mod
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 8–15 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Angola, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Angola accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised Kz54 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Kz1.93 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Angola applies customs scrutiny on vaping imports; budget for delays. Shipping of nicotine to Angola runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for citrus in Angola must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Citrus | Decides coil choice more than strength does |
| Format | box mod | Sets how much liquid you are actually buying |
| Stock checked | 10 lines | Batch-traced, dated production runs only |
| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Angola |
| Coil life | ~5 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Angola | 8–15 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | Kz54 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | Kz1.93 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
How long does citrus in a box mod last?
In Luanda we measured 3 to 10 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Luanda: about Kz1.93 per 10 ml liquid plus Kz54 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does citrus taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the citrus blend itself harsh.
