The short version: coconut in Luanda works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a coconut pen device really costs in Luanda
Coconut prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Luanda that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Kz1.86 per 10 ml.
How we tested coconut in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Angola, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every coconut bottle shipped into Angola.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Angola, since tanks and pods go first.
Where coconut goes wrong
- Mixing coconut with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a pen device cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Luanda: about Kz1.86 per 10 ml liquid plus Kz39 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does coconut taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the coconut blend itself harsh.
