Coffee mesh tank IQOS in Luanda: the compare shortlist
Coffee in Luanda: 17 units tested over 4 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
Coil life, liquid cost and the coffee habit
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Angola. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
We run coffee the same way in Luanda: same mesh tank, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: coffee in Luanda works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a coffee mesh tank really costs in Luanda
The honest read on coffee: 17 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested coffee in a mesh tank
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in Angola, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where coffee goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised Kz61 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Kz2.9 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Angola applies customs scrutiny on vaping imports; budget for delays. Shipping of nicotine to Angola runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Is coffee legal to sell in Angola?
Angola applies customs scrutiny on vaping imports; budget for delays.
How much does a mesh tank cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Luanda: about Kz2.9 per 10 ml liquid plus Kz61 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does coffee taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the coffee blend itself harsh.
