Frozen pen device IQOS in Luanda: the compare shortlist
Frozen in Luanda: 20 units tested over 4 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
Where buyers go wrong with frozen in Angola
Frozen pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 20 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
We run frozen the same way in Luanda: same pen device, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long frozen tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a frozen pen device really costs in Luanda
The honest read on frozen: 20 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested frozen in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every frozen bottle shipped into Angola.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Angola, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why frozen tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing frozen with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
