Licorice refill pack IQOS in Luanda: the flat shortlist
Licorice in Luanda: 17 units tested over 9 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
Coil life, liquid cost and the licorice habit
Licorice prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Luanda that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Kz2.73 per 10 ml.
We run licorice the same way in Luanda: same refill pack, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 17 units, refill pack, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a licorice refill pack really costs in Luanda
Licorice refill pack reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 17 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested licorice in a refill pack
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the refill pack, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for refill pack in Angola, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Treating the advertised Kz65 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Kz2.73 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a refill pack that then needs an adapter nobody in Angola stocks.
- Buying the cheapest refill pack available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Angola sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How long does licorice in a refill pack last?
In Luanda we measured 9 to 17 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
How much does a refill pack cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Luanda: about Kz2.73 per 10 ml liquid plus Kz65 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does licorice taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the licorice blend itself harsh.
