Licorice squonk mod IQOS in Luanda: the budget shortlist
Licorice in Luanda: 17 units tested over 9 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
What the label on Licorice is allowed to say
Most people searching IQOS in Angola are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Angola. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long licorice tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a licorice squonk mod really costs in Luanda
Licorice prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Luanda that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Kz2.62 per 10 ml.
How we tested licorice in a squonk mod
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 8–15 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in Angola, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Angola, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Angola stocks.
- Treating the advertised Kz30 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Kz2.62 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Angola sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does licorice taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the licorice blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should licorice start at?
Start at whatever Angola allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
How much does a squonk mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Luanda: about Kz2.62 per 10 ml liquid plus Kz30 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
