Pear pen device IQOS in Luanda: the review shortlist
Pear in Luanda: 14 units tested over 2 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Ordering into Luanda usually means waiting 8–15 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
We run pear the same way in Luanda: same pen device, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: pear in Luanda works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear pen device really costs in Luanda
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Angola. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested pear in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 8–15 business days.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 8–15 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where pear goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing pear with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised Kz40 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Kz3.39 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Angola sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for pear in Angola must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Pear | Decides coil choice more than strength does |
| Format | pen device | Sets how much liquid you are actually buying |
| Stock checked | 14 lines | Batch-traced, dated production runs only |
| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Angola |
| Coil life | ~4 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Angola | 8–15 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | Kz40 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | Kz3.39 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Is pear legal to sell in Angola?
Angola applies customs scrutiny on vaping imports; budget for delays.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On pear the budget price and the premium price can sit within Kz3.39 per 10 ml once 8–15 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should pear start at?
Start at whatever Angola allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
