Pear pod kit IQOS in Luanda: the order shortlist
Pear in Luanda: 24 units tested over 5 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
How we tested Pear pod kit here
Pear pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 24 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Ordering into Luanda usually means waiting 8–15 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
The short version: pear in Luanda works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear pod kit really costs in Luanda
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Luanda that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Kz1.75 per 10 ml.
How we tested pear in a pod kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 8–15 business days.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 8–15 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where pear goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why pear tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised Kz35 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Kz1.75 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On pear the budget price and the premium price can sit within Kz1.75 per 10 ml once 8–15 business days is counted.
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
Is pear legal to sell in Angola?
Angola applies customs scrutiny on vaping imports; budget for delays.
