Plain refill pack IQOS in Luanda: the cheap shortlist
Plain in Luanda: 14 units tested over 6 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
Choosing a refill pack for plain
We run plain the same way in Luanda: same refill pack, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Plain in a refill pack is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Luanda the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the refill pack you buy decides how long plain tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plain refill pack really costs in Luanda
A plain refill pack from the cheapest options in Angola costs about Kz3.34 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested plain in a refill pack
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 8–15 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 8–15 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plain bottle shipped into Angola.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the refill pack, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where plain goes wrong
- Treating the advertised Kz64 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Kz3.34 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a refill pack and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a refill pack that then needs an adapter nobody in Angola stocks.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Angola need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
How long does plain in a refill pack last?
In Luanda we measured 6 to 14 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should plain start at?
Start at whatever Angola allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a refill pack.
Why does plain taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the plain blend itself harsh.
