Plum mesh tank IQOS in Luanda: the guide shortlist
Plum in Luanda: 17 units tested over 6 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
Where buyers go wrong with plum in Angola
If you are looking at plum in Angola, the first question is not strength. It is whether the mesh tank you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
We run plum the same way in Luanda: same mesh tank, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: plum in Luanda works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plum mesh tank really costs in Luanda
Plum prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Luanda that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Kz1.68 per 10 ml.
How we tested plum in a mesh tank
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 8–15 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a plum bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 8–15 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where plum goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in Angola stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plum in Luanda survives.
The rules that apply here
