Plum pen device IQOS in Luanda: the compare shortlist
Plum in Luanda: 15 units tested over 2 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
If you are looking at plum in Angola, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pen device you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
We run plum the same way in Luanda: same pen device, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long plum tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plum pen device really costs in Luanda
The honest read on plum: 15 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested plum in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 8–15 business days.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 15 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Angola, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where plum goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Angola accept nicotine freight.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On plum the budget price and the premium price can sit within Kz2.39 per 10 ml once 8–15 business days is counted.
How much does a pen device cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Luanda: about Kz2.39 per 10 ml liquid plus Kz34 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
