Plum RDA IQOS in Luanda: the budget shortlist
Plum in Luanda: 20 units tested over 7 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
Coil life, liquid cost and the plum habit
Plum RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 20 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Plum prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Luanda that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Kz2.89 per 10 ml.
The short version: plum in Luanda works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plum RDA really costs in Luanda
Plum sounds like one product. It is not: a RDA running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested plum in a RDA
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 8–15 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Angola, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a plum bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where plum goes wrong
- Mixing plum with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Angola accept nicotine freight.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Angola sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to Angola need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On plum the budget price and the premium price can sit within Kz2.89 per 10 ml once 8–15 business days is counted.
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
How long does plum in a RDA last?
In Luanda we measured 7 to 20 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
