What a salted box mod really costs in Luanda
Salted box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 8 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested salted in a box mod
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 8–15 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 8–15 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where salted goes wrong
- Treating the advertised Kz42 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Kz3.57 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Angola accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for salted in Angola must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Angola applies customs scrutiny on vaping imports; budget for delays. Shipping of nicotine to Angola runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should salted start at?
Start at whatever Angola allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a box mod.
How long does salted in a box mod last?
In Luanda we measured 9 to 8 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On salted the budget price and the premium price can sit within Kz3.57 per 10 ml once 8–15 business days is counted.
