Home / Salted box mod IQOS in Luanda: the flat shortlist

How we tested Salted box mod here

Salted prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Luanda that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Kz2.05 per 10 ml.

Ordering into Luanda usually means waiting 8–15 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.

Below is the run we did for this search: 15 units, box mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.

What a salted box mod really costs in Luanda

We run salted the same way in Luanda: same box mod, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.

How we tested salted in a box mod

1. Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
2. Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
3. Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.

• Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
• Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into Angola.
• Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
• Stock depth: 15 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.

Where salted goes wrong

• Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
• Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Angola stocks.
• Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Angola accept nicotine freight.

The rules that apply here

Packaging for salted in Angola must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Angola applies customs scrutiny on vaping imports; budget for delays.
