Salted cartomizer IQOS in Luanda: the budget shortlist
Salted in Luanda: 21 units tested over 9 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
What the label on Salted is allowed to say
Salted cartomizer reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 21 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
We run salted the same way in Luanda: same cartomizer, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 21 units, cartomizer, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a salted cartomizer really costs in Luanda
The honest read on salted: 21 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested salted in a cartomizer
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 8–15 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 8–15 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Angola, not a suggestion.
Where salted goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest cartomizer available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing salted with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why salted tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Angola need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Packaging for salted in Angola must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Is salted legal to sell in Angola?
Angola applies customs scrutiny on vaping imports; budget for delays.
How long does salted in a cartomizer last?
In Luanda we measured 9 to 21 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does salted taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the salted blend itself harsh.
