Salted mesh tank IQOS in Luanda: the order shortlist
Salted in Luanda: 7 units tested over 2 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
How we tested Salted mesh tank here
Salted prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Luanda that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Kz3.08 per 10 ml.
Salted sounds like one product. It is not: a mesh tank running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Below is the run we did for this search: 7 units, mesh tank, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a salted mesh tank really costs in Luanda
We run salted the same way in Luanda: same mesh tank, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested salted in a mesh tank
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 8–15 business days.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where salted goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why salted tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
