Salted RDA IQOS in Luanda: the review shortlist
Salted in Luanda: 12 units tested over 2 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
Where buyers go wrong with salted in Angola
The honest read on salted: 12 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Salted prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Luanda that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Kz3.39 per 10 ml.
The short version: salted in Luanda works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a salted RDA really costs in Luanda
If you are looking at salted in Angola, the first question is not strength. It is whether the RDA you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested salted in a RDA
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 8–15 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where salted goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long salted in Luanda survives.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in Angola stocks.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for salted in Angola must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
