Salted starter kit IQOS in Luanda: the review shortlist
Salted in Luanda: 20 units tested over 8 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
What the label on Salted is allowed to say
Salted in Luanda reaches the shelf in starter kit formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Salted prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Luanda that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Kz2.54 per 10 ml.
The short version: salted in Luanda works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a salted starter kit really costs in Luanda
If you are looking at salted in Angola, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested salted in a starter kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 8–15 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into Angola.
Where salted goes wrong
- Mixing salted with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why salted tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for salted in Angola must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

On the last run in Luanda: about Kz2.54 per 10 ml liquid plus Kz55 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
