Salted vape pen IQOS in Luanda: the review shortlist
Salted in Luanda: 14 units tested over 6 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
How to tell a good vape pen from a repack
Ordering into Luanda usually means waiting 8–15 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Salted in a vape pen is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Luanda the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long salted tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a salted vape pen really costs in Luanda
Most people searching IQOS in Angola are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested salted in a vape pen
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 8–15 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Angola, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where salted goes wrong
- Treating the advertised Kz42 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Kz2.96 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a vape pen that then needs an adapter nobody in Angola stocks.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Angola sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a vape pen cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Luanda: about Kz2.96 per 10 ml liquid plus Kz42 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does salted in a vape pen last?
In Luanda we measured 6 to 14 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does salted taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the salted blend itself harsh.
