Sour box mod IQOS in Luanda: the order shortlist
Sour in Luanda: 22 units tested over 3 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
What sour costs in Luanda
Sour sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
A sour box mod from the pre-order options in Angola costs about Kz2.93 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long sour tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sour box mod really costs in Luanda
Most people searching IQOS in Angola are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested sour in a box mod
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 8–15 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Angola, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a sour bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where sour goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Angola stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Angola sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Angola applies customs scrutiny on vaping imports; budget for delays. Shipping of nicotine to Angola runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Luanda: about Kz2.93 per 10 ml liquid plus Kz38 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does sour taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the sour blend itself harsh.
How long does sour in a box mod last?
In Luanda we measured 3 to 22 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
