Sour box mod IQOS in Luanda: the review shortlist
Sour in Luanda: 10 units tested over 4 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
Choosing a box mod for sour
Sour in Luanda reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Sour in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Luanda the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long sour tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sour box mod really costs in Luanda
The honest read on sour: 10 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested sour in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 8–15 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where sour goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Angola accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing sour with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sour tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Angola sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for sour in Angola must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
