Sour pod kit IQOS in Luanda: the best shortlist
Sour in Luanda: 13 units tested over 4 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
What the label on Sour is allowed to say
If you are looking at sour in Angola, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pod kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Sour prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Luanda that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Kz2.34 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 13 units, pod kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sour pod kit really costs in Luanda
A sour pod kit from the best options in Angola costs about Kz2.34 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested sour in a pod kit
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 8–15 business days.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sour bottle shipped into Angola.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Angola, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where sour goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing sour with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Angola sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Angola applies customs scrutiny on vaping imports; budget for delays. Shipping of nicotine to Angola runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a pod kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Luanda: about Kz2.34 per 10 ml liquid plus Kz64 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does sour taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the sour blend itself harsh.
How long does sour in a pod kit last?
In Luanda we measured 4 to 13 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
