Sour refill pack IQOS in Luanda: the review shortlist
Sour in Luanda: 12 units tested over 7 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
Coil life, liquid cost and the sour habit
We run sour the same way in Luanda: same refill pack, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Sour prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Luanda that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Kz2.64 per 10 ml.
The short version: sour in Luanda works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sour refill pack really costs in Luanda
If you are looking at sour in Angola, the first question is not strength. It is whether the refill pack you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested sour in a refill pack
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 8–15 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for refill pack in Angola, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a sour bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where sour goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a refill pack that then needs an adapter nobody in Angola stocks.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Angola accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sour tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On sour the budget price and the premium price can sit within Kz2.64 per 10 ml once 8–15 business days is counted.
How long does sour in a refill pack last?
In Luanda we measured 7 to 12 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does sour taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the sour blend itself harsh.
