Tropical refill pack IQOS in Luanda: the online shortlist
Tropical in Luanda: 9 units tested over 7 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
Where buyers go wrong with tropical in Angola
We run tropical the same way in Luanda: same refill pack, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Tropical in a refill pack is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Luanda the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the refill pack you buy decides how long tropical tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a tropical refill pack really costs in Luanda

How we tested tropical in a refill pack
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 8–15 business days.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a tropical bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tropical tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a refill pack and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.

Frequently asked questions
Is tropical legal to sell in Angola?
Angola applies customs scrutiny on vaping imports; budget for delays.
What nicotine strength should tropical start at?
Start at whatever Angola allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a refill pack.
How long does tropical in a refill pack last?
In Luanda we measured 7 to 9 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
