Vanilla in Luanda: 11 units tested over 9 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
What the label on Vanilla is allowed to say
Vanilla refill pack reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 11 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
We run vanilla the same way in Luanda: same refill pack, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 11 units, refill pack, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a vanilla refill pack really costs in Luanda
The honest read on vanilla: 11 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested vanilla in a refill pack
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 8–15 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 11 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every vanilla bottle shipped into Angola.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Mixing vanilla with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a refill pack that then needs an adapter nobody in Angola stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long vanilla in Luanda survives.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Why does vanilla taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the vanilla blend itself harsh.
How much does a refill pack cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Luanda: about Kz3.12 per 10 ml liquid plus Kz33 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On vanilla the budget price and the premium price can sit within Kz3.12 per 10 ml once 8–15 business days is counted.
